Gefühl bedingungsloser Liebe und Akzeptanz
Die Ärzte können zwar der Leben des Priesters retten, doch befürchten er könnte Hirnschäden erlitten haben. Doch der 71Jährige wacht nach einem Kampf zwischen Leben und Tod putzmunter auf und scheint, zum Erstaunen der Ärzte, perfekt erholt. Noch erstaunlicher ist jedoch, was er zu erzählen hat. Eine unglaubliche Begegnung
An einem Punkt seiner Erfahrung erzählt O’Neal, sei er dann Gott begegnet. Er beschreibt dieses Wesen als mütterliches Lichtwesen. „Ihre Anwesenheit war sowohl überwältigend als auch beruhigend“, so der katholische Priester. „Sie hatte eine weiche und beruhigende Stimme und ihre Gegenwart war so beruhigend wie die Umarmung einer Mutter. Die Tatsache, dass Gott eine Mutter Gottes statt eines Heiligen Vater ist, stört mich nicht. Sie ist alles, was ich hoffte, dass sie sein würde und noch viel mehr!
Katholische Kirche ist entsetzt
Wie Starr FM Online weiter berichtet, lösen die Schilderungen des Klerikers sofort Entsetzen innerhalb des katholischen Klerus aus. Dies geht so weit, dass der oberste Erzbischof durch eine eigens einberufene Pressekonferenz versucht, die „beschworenen Gerüchte zu beruhigen“.
Priester will sein neues Wissen weitergeben
Trotz der Missbilligung seiner Vorgesetzten sagt Pater O’Neal, dass er auch weiterhin sein Leben Gott und dem Wort von der „Mutter Gottes“ widmen wird. „Ich möchte meine Predigt fortsetzen“, sagt der ältere Geistliche. „Ich möchte mein neues Wissen der Mutter und des Sohnes und des Heiligen Geistes mit allen Katholiken und sogar allen Christen zu teilen. Gott ist groß und allmächtig, auch wenn sie eine Frau ist.“ Noch hat das Erzbistum Boston eine Weiterbeschäftigung des Priesters in seiner früheren Gemeinde nicht bestätigt….“
