Thereafter, at an international Alba-Nova conference, he realized that there was an ongoing research in connecting biological systems to computers. Research on the Internet helped him to learn more about the subject but he also got in touch with hundreds of other victims online. He realized that this problem was global. He also developed several webpages about the technology used, involving all sides of it in order to inform and warn others.
