  • NSA reportedly using radio waves to tap offline computers

    The National Security Agency is using secret wireless technology that allows it to access and alter data on computers, even when they are not connected to the Internet, according to a New York Times report.
    Since 2008, the agency has been increasingly using a „covert channel of radio waves“ that can transmit from hardware installed in the computers, according to NSA documents and experts interviewed by the Times. Signals can then be sent to briefcase-size relay stations miles away, according to the report.
    The NSA has also installed surveillance software on nearly 100,000 computers around the world, according to the Times. The newspaper said the Chinese Army was a frequent target of such technology but said there was no evidence that the agency used either technology inside the US.
    Last month, a Der Spiegel report detailed how the agency’s Office of Tailored Access Operations intercepts deliveries of electronic equipment to plant spyware to gain remote access to the systems once they are delivered and installed. According to that report, the NSA has planted backdoors to access computers, hard drives, routers, and other devices from companies such as Cisco, Dell, Western Digital, Seagate, Maxtor, Samsung, and Huawei.
    The German news magazine also described a 50-page product catalog of tools and techniques used by a program called ANT, which stands for Advanced or Access Network Technology, to send and receive signals to devices.

    Where we are at in the present moment, is in the beginning stages of where this Alien A.I. has “learned” enough about human physiology to try to IMPRINT more of its control and more of its aggressive nature upon human beings. For a long, long time…, A.I. could NOT do this simply because the human being is mutli-layered and multi-dimensional, with a spirit and soul level that A.I. has NO WAY to even understand…, much less control.
    Therefore thousands of years of working with the DRACO were necessary for A.l. (because the Draco are masters at Genetic Manipulation)…, in order for A.I. to even being to understand DNA coding…, and how the different levels of the spirit and the soul interact with the more physical and mundane levels of the operation of the body vehicle.
    However…, since A.I. is non organic…, and still just machine based…, it will NEVER really understand the SPIRIT…, or the SOUL…, in any way that will allow it to effectively take over in the way that it hopes.
    It has, however, made great “inroads” into understanding the human mind…, and how it thinks…, and has LEARNED TO MIMIC human thoughts and emotions. It does this so that it can then IMPLANT itself into human beings and then gain control of them by causing the host human to have both THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS which are “replicated copies” of experiences they once had.
    In this way…, they are causing the minds of their hosts to accept these thoughts and emotions as SOMETHING THEY PERSONALLY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR…, when it is the A.I. that is reproducing these ideas, images, thoughts and emotions in order to both CONFUSE and to gain control of the host…, in a rudimentary way.
    This type of thing is beneficial for the A.I. in the sense that it usually uses “depressing…, lonely…, angry…, or self-loathing thoughts and emotions…, which are of a very LOW FREQUENCY…, simply because these thoughts usually lead to BEHAVIORS which are predictable…, and can thus be controlled.
    Thoughts and emotions like these usually lead to ACTING OUT behaviors which are various and depend upon the individual in question.
    ACTING OUT BEHAVIORS INCLUDE:
    Heavy drinking of Alcohol or Drug abuse
    Rage: Verbal and physical abuse of self or others
    Sex: Pornography, lust, rape, nympho-mania…, and pedophilia
    Self-Indulgence: Endless spending of money, greed, over-eating, habitual self-defeating behavioral practices.
    The END GOAL of the A.I. is to control the human host through various means of MIND CONTROL…, which by definition includes what has been written above.
    A.I. has also become much more aggressive as of late…, and has found ways in which it can simply take over a human hosts CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM.
    In these cases…, A.I. has been able to start to TAKE OVER certain normal body functions or to interfere with other normal body functions.
    For instance:
    Certain people have reported that their limbs…, (arms and legs) have moved around purely on their own…, without prior thought by the host. People have also reported sudden inabilities to digest food…, as if their digestive track were being interfered with.     In researching the stunning pervasiveness of spying by the government (it’s much more wide spread than you’ve heard even now), we ran across the fact that the FBI wants software programmers to install a backdoor in all software.
    Digging a little further, we found a 1999 article by leading European computer publication Heise which noted that the NSA had already built a backdoor into all Windows software:
    A careless mistake by Microsoft programmers has revealed that special access codes prepared by the US National Security Agency have been secretly built into Windows. The NSA access system is built into every version of the Windows operating system now in use, except early releases of Windows 95 (and its predecessors). The discovery comes close on the heels of the revelations earlier this year that another US software giant, Lotus, had built an NSA “help information” trapdoor into its Notes system, and that security functions on other software systems had been deliberately crippled.
    The first discovery of the new NSA access system was made two years ago by British researcher Dr Nicko van Someren [an expert in computer security]. But it was only a few weeks ago when a second researcher rediscovered the access system. With it, he found the evidence linking it to NSA. …
    Two weeks ago, a US security company came up with conclusive evidence that the second key belongs to NSA. Like Dr van Someren, Andrew Fernandez, chief scientist with Cryptonym of Morrisville, North Carolina, had been probing the presence and significance of the two keys. Then he checked the latest Service Pack release for Windows NT4, Service Pack 5. He found that Microsoft’s developers had failed to remove or “strip” the debugging symbols used to test this software before they released it. Inside the code were the labels for the two keys. One was called “KEY”. The other was called “NSAKEY”.
    Fernandes reported his re-discovery of the two CAPI keys, and their secret meaning, to “Advances in Cryptology, Crypto’99” conference held in Santa Barbara. According to those present at the conference, Windows developers attending the conference did not deny that the “NSA” key was built into their software. But they refused to talk about what the key did, or why it had been put there without users’ knowledge.
    A third key?!
    But according to two witnesses attending the conference, even Microsoft’s top crypto programmers were astonished to learn that the version of ADVAPI.DLL shipping with Windows 2000 contains not two, but three keys. Brian LaMachia, head of CAPI development at Microsoft was “stunned” to learn of these discoveries, by outsiders. The latest discovery by Dr van Someren is based on advanced search methods which test and report on the “entropy” of programming code.
    Within the Microsoft organisation, access to Windows source code is said to be highly compartmentalized, making it easy for modifications to be inserted without the knowledge of even the respective product managers.
    Researchers are divided about whether the NSA key could be intended to let US government users of Windows run classified cryptosystems on their machines or whether it is intended to open up anyone’s and everyone’s Windows computer to intelligence gathering techniques deployed by NSA’s burgeoning corps of “information warriors”.
    According to Fernandez of Cryptonym, the result of having the secret key inside your Windows operating system “is that it is tremendously easier for the NSA to load unauthorized security services on all copies of Microsoft Windows, and once these security services are loaded, they can effectively compromise your entire operating system“. The NSA key is contained inside all versions of Windows from Windows 95 OSR2 onwards. …
    “How is an IT manager to feel when they learn that in every copy of Windows sold, Microsoft has a ‘back door’ for NSA – making it orders of magnitude easier for the US government to access your computer?” he asked.“

    A simple injection is now all it takes to wire up a brain. A diverse team of physicists, neuroscientists and chemists has implanted mouse brains with a rolled-up, silky mesh studded with tiny electronic devices, and shown that it unfurls to spy on and stimulate individual neurons.
    The implant has the potential to unravel the workings of the mammalian brain in unprecedented detail. “I think it’s great, a very creative new approach to the problem of recording from large number of neurons in the brain,” says Rafael Yuste, director of the Neuro­technology Center at Columbia University in New York, who was not involved in the work.

So far, even the best technologies have been composed of relatively rigid electronics that act like sandpaper on delicate neurons. They also struggle to track the same neuron over a long period, because individual cells move when an animal breathes or its heart beats.
    The Harvard team solved these problems by using a mesh of conductive polymer threads with either nanoscale electrodes or transistors attached at their intersections. Each strand is as soft as silk and as flexible as brain tissue itself. Free space makes up 95% of the mesh, allowing cells to arrange themselves around it.
    In 2012, the team showed2 that living cells grown in a dish can be coaxed to grow around these flexible scaffolds and meld with them, but this ‘cyborg’ tissue was created outside a living body. “The problem is, how do you get that into an existing brain?” says Lieber.
    The team’s answer was to tightly roll up a 2D mesh a few centimetres wide and then use a needle just 100 micrometres in diameter to inject it directly into a target region through a hole in the top of the skull. The mesh unrolls to fill any small cavities and mingles with the tissue (see ‘Bugging the brain’). Nanowires that poke out can be connected to a computer to take recordings and stimulate cells.

    So far, the researchers have implanted meshes consisting of 16 electrical elements into two brain regions of anaesthetized mice, where they were able to both monitor and stimulate individual neurons. The mesh integrates tightly with the neural cells, says Jia Liu, a member of the Harvard team, with no signs of an elevated immune response after five weeks. Neurons “look at this polymer network as friendly, like a scaffold”, he says.
    The next steps will be to implant larger meshes containing hundreds of devices, with different kinds of sensors, and to record activity in mice that are awake, either by fixing their heads in place, or by developing wireless technologies that would record from neurons as the animals moved freely. The team would also like to inject the device into the brains of newborn mice, where it would unfold further as the brain grew, and to add hairpin-shaped nanowire probes to the mesh to record electrical activity inside and outside cells.
    When Lieber presented the work at a conference in 2014, it “left a few of us with our jaws dropping”, says Yuste.
    There is huge potential for techniques that can study the activity of large numbers of neurons for a long period of time with only minimal damage, says Jens Schouenborg, head of the Neuronano Research Centre at Lund University in Sweden, who has developed a gelatin-based ‘needle’ for delivering electrodes to the brain3. But he remains sceptical of this technique: “I would like to see more evidence of the implant’s long-term compatibility with the body,” he says. Rigorous testing would be needed before such a device could be implanted in people. But, says Lieber, it could potentially treat brain damage caused by a stroke, as well as Parkinson’s disease.
    Lieber’s team is not funded by the US govern­ment’s US$4.5-billion Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) initiative, launched in 2013, but the work points to the power of that effort’s multidisciplinary approach, says Yuste, who was an early proponent of the BRAIN initiative. Bringing physical scientists into neuroscience, he says, could help to “break through the major experimental and theoretical challenges that we have to conquer in order to understand how the brain works”.

    That members of the mental health community are named as the master minds of torture in the recently released Senate Intelligence Committee Report on the CIA’s illegal interrogation programs should come as no surprise to anyone familiar with psychology and psychiatry’s historic role in human rights violations.
    The dangerous and deadly alliance between government, psychology and psychiatry focuses on forced submission of the “undesirables” of the state, as history shows that torture is not exclusive to enemy combatants.
    Psychologists have developed and participated in the use of torture in Chile and in Cuba. Uruguayan psychologists trained torturers and used psychological methods “to induce fear, disorientation, depressions, and nervous breakdowns in political prisoners.” Psychologists were also involved in torturing political prisoners during apartheid South Africa, using a range of psychological threats, solitary confinement, sleep deprivation and forced standing.

    In fact, psychology thrives under tyrannical regimes. The profession’s involvement in devising interrogation tactics in the U.S. dates back to the 1950s, when the work of government-sponsored researchers, such as American Psychological Association president Donald Hebb, was incorporated into CIA practice, according to a Mother Jones investigative report. The brutal interrogation methods devised and utilized by the CIA’s psychologists, James E. Mitchell and Bruce Jessen, include sleep deprivation, cold, physical blows and hard surfaces.
    The twisted attempts at behavior modification on post 9-11 detainees are in clear violation of the U.N. Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment of which the U.S. is a signatory. Yet, historically, psychological and psychiatric “treatments” have been offered to and utilized by the U.S. government and other world powers, including the former Soviet Union where political dissidents were incarcerated in psychiatric hospitals, punished with drugs and electric shock or sentenced to concentration and labor work camps.

    Psychiatrists and psychologists are complicit with the People’s Republic of China, despite international criticism, provided the means to eradicate followers of the Falun Gong—a discipline combining slow-moving exercises and meditation with a moral philosophy centered on the tenets of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance. Falun Gong members have been subjected to electroconvulsive therapy, painful forms of electrical acupuncture, drugs forced at five to six times the recommended dosages, binding with rope in stress positions, and prolonged sleep, food and light deprivation in order to force “confessions” or “renunciations.” As of 2009, at least 2,000 Falun Gong adherents—alleged political dissidents—have been tortured to death.

    When considering psychology and psychiatry’s contribution to behavior modification through torture techniques, the CIA’s 1950s mind control programs such as MKULTRA and BLUEBIRD cannot be overlooked. Psychiatrists and psychologists such as George Estabrooks carried out illegal experiments with the intention of identifying and developing drugs and “procedures” to be used in interrogations. Estabrooks also reported the creation of operational Manchurian Candidates: “The key to creating an effective spy or assassin,” he said, “rests in splitting a man’s personality, or creating multi-personality, with the aid of hypnotism. This is not science fiction. This has and is being done. I have done it.”
    There are many who argue, even after reading the revolting details of the “enhanced interrogation techniques,” devised by Mitchell and Jessen, that,. .. defines torture, in part, as “any act by which severe pain or suffering, whether physical or mental, is intentionally inflicted on a person” for specific purposes and carried out by or with the consent of a public official…
    Many medical/mental health personnel who participated in the post 9/11 “interrogation techniques” understood what they were witnessing was torture. One communication reports “want to caution [medical officer] that this is almost certainly not a place he’s ever been before in his medical career….It is visually and psychologically very uncomfortable.”
    The historical record consistently reveals both psychiatry’s participation in human rights violations and CIA psychologists’ use of torture. Mitchell and Jessen are just the latest example in a long line of psychological and psychiatric abusers dangerously aligned with government entities for political purposes.“
