    Washington. Erstmals wurde ein Mensch eingefroren und wieder zum Leben erweckt – die Technik könnte einmal bei langen All-Reisen zum Einsatz kommen. Der Arzt Samuel Tisherman und sein Team an der University of Maryland ersetzten bei einem Notfall-Patienten das Blut komplett durch eine eiskalte Salzlösung. Nach bisheriger Begrifflichkeit galt der Patient als Tot – Er hatte keinen Herzschlag mehr, seine Atmung setzte aus und die Hirnaktivität konnte kaum noch gemessen werden.
    Dann wurde er wieder aufgewärmt und das Blut zurück in den Körper gepumpt – Und konnten ihn somit wieder zum Leben erwecken. Die ursprüngliche Idee Tishermans war es, für schwer verletzte Personen, die kaum eine Chance auf ein Überleben hätten, ein bisschen mehr Zeit für Operationen zu gewinnen. „Es ist schon ziemlich surreal“, sagte Dr. Samule Tisherman gegenüber dem Fachmagazin „New Scientist“. Es handelt sich jedoch um einen medizinischen Durchbruch, der nicht nur im OP-Saal an Bedeutung gewinnen könnte.
    Der Zweck des Ganzen: Mit diesem Scheintod legten die Mediziner den echten Tod des Patienten für zwei Stunden auf Eis, konnten in dieser Zeit lebensrettende Eingriffe vornehmen.
    Tisherman sagte die erste derartige OP an einem Menschen sei „ein bisschen surreal“ gewesen. Seine Methode nennt er „Emergency preservation and resuscitation“ (Notfallkonservierung und Wiederbelebung). Im deutschsprachigen Raum wird sie auch als „künstlicher Scheintod“ bezeichnet.

    Kryonik oder Kryostase (nach dem griechischen Wort für Kälte) bezeichnet die Konservierung von Organen bei extrem tiefen Temperaturen. Die Methode wurde in den 60er-Jahren in den USA entwickelt. Dort bieten zwei Institute die Kältekonservierung und Langzeitlagerung von Menschen nach ihrem Ableben an. Auch in Russland gibt es Angebote.
    Die Methode ähnelt jener, mit der in der Reproduktionsmedizin befruchtete Eizellen und Embryonen aufbewahrt werden. Jedoch ist bei ganzen Körpern mit hochkomplexen Organen wie dem Gehirn das Problem der Bildung von Eiskristallen und Giftstoffen beim Auftauprozess noch ungelöst. Kryonik-Anhänger hoffen, dass die Medizin der Zukunft dafür eine Lösung findet. Kryonik ist nicht offiziell als Wissenschaft anerkannt.
    Der Vater der Kryonik, der US-Physiker Robert Ettinger, erlangte 1962 mit seinem Buch „The Prospect of Immortality“ (etwa: Die Aussicht auf Unsterblichkeit) Berühmtheit: Gestorbenen, so Ettinger, könne in der fernen Zukunft neues Leben eingehaucht werden, sofern man sie rasch auf Tiefsttemperatur herunterkühlt. Nicht wenigen Menschen war das einen Versuch wert. Kosten: bis zu 200.000 Dollar (170.000 Euro). Ergebnis: offen.
    Rund 250 Tote – Kryoniker nennen sie Patienten – „schlummern“ in zwei amerikanischen Non-Profit-Instituten in Containern. Etwa 50 solcher modernen Mumien sollen es zudem in einer russischen Einrichtung sein. Dass der Kopf von Kryokonservierten jeweils unten ist, macht Sinn: Falls mal nicht genügend Stickstoff nachläuft, sollen lieber die Füße geschädigt werden als das Gehirn.“

    „Dass mit der „Demokratie“ in den USA und Europa etwas nicht stimmt, haben inzwischen viele bemerkt; das Wort „Faschismus“ für eine Hemisphäre, die uns lange als freie Welt und westliche Wertegemeinschaft verkauft wurde, wollen die meisten aber denn doch nicht in den Mund nehmen.
    Ein einzelnes Land strebt die totale globale Dominanz an und versucht, widerstrebende Staaten mit ökonomischen und militärischen Mitteln zur Unterwerfung zu zwingen. Dieselbe Nation (und ihre ergebenen Satellitenstaaten) setzt nach innen auf Überwachung und Bürgerrechtsabbau, nach außen auf die Einschüchterung wichtiger potenzieller Gegner wie Russland. Das Ausbeutungssystem des Neoliberalismus soll weltweit als alternativlos installiert werden.“
    „Die Regierungen der westlichen Fassadendemokratien sahen sich nach dem Kollaps der UdSSR 1990/1991 als Siegermächte eines Systemkampfes. Sieger schreiben die Geschichte und darum kam für die politischen Führungen der USA und ihre europäischen Statthalter eine an langfristiger politischer Stabilität und Zusammenarbeit mit Russland „auf Augenhöhe“ orientierte Außenpolitik gar nicht in Frage. Zu dieser Zeit war die Welt für die westlichen Herrschaftskasten noch in Ordnung.
    Erst als Putin die Macht im früheren Sowjetstaat übernahm, den Ausverkauf der Nation durch kriminelle Oligarchen eindämmte, der Verelendung des eigenen Volkes ein Ende setzte und sich der Einkreisung Russlands durch die NATO entgegenstellte, schrillten in den westlichen Herrschaftszentralen alle Alarmglocken. Seit etwa dem Jahr 2000 installierten die marktradikalen, neokonservativen Transatlantiker unter US-Führung Russland als neuen Feind und den Kalten Krieg 2.0. Treiber der skizzierten Entwicklungen ist ein transatlantischer Elitenfaschismus, der im „Dunkelraum der Herrschenden“, dem Tiefen Staat, operiert und eine neue Phase der Hochrüstung einleitet.“
    „Transatlantischer Elitenfaschismus
    Materielle Grundlage des transatlantischen Elitenfaschismus ist der globalisierte Kapitalismus unter Herrschaft der Finanzindustrie, der Reichen und Superreichen [2]. Der transatlantische Elitenfaschismus als supranationale Herrschaftsideologie ist ein recht junges Phänomen. Er hat sich seit etwa 30 Jahren herauskristallisiert. Als Zentrum der Macht hat Bernd Hamm eine global herrschende Klasse definiert:
    „Die global herrschende Klasse tendiert dazu, sich selbst, vergleichbar mit feudalen Königen, von Gottes Gnaden hoch über alle anderen Menschen gesetzt zu sehen. Faschismus dürfte eine tragende Säule ihrer Ideologie sein und Krieg nur eines der Werkzeuge, um ihre Macht und ihre Gewinne zu steigern. Damit ist sie durch ein übergeordnetes Klasseninteresse miteinander verbunden. Zur Einigkeit im Klassenkampf lässt sich konstatieren: Es handelt sich um einen global geführten Klassenkampf ‚von oben‘. Beim Begriff ‚Klassenkampf‘ denkt jeder nur an Aktionen von Arbeitern, die ihre Klasseninteressen verteidigen, und vergisst dabei den viel bedeutenderen Klassenkampf, der von der herrschenden Klasse mithilfe des Staates organisiert wird“.
    „Der ideologische Überbau, das heißt das Glaubensbekenntnis des transatlantischen Elitenfaschismus umfasst
    den imperialistischen Weltbeherrungsanspruch der USA,
    die Missionierungsideologie der USA als exzeptionelle, „unverzichtbare Nation der Welt“ mit außerordentlichen Rechten, die Unterwerfungsforderung an alle anderen Nationen,
    den radikalisierten Neoliberalismus (Marktradikalismus) als „alternativlose“ Ordnung und als Menschenbild die Herrenmenschenideologie des Konkurrenzkapitalismus.
    Im Gegensatz zum (alten) Faschismus italienischer, nationalsozialistischer, spanischer oder portugiesischer Prägung benötigt der transatlantische Elitenfaschismus
    keine charismatische Führerpersönlichkeit,
    keine aktive Massenunterstützung,
    keine chauvinistische Blut- und Boden-Rabulistik und
    keine formale Diktatur.“
    „Ausgehend vom Weltbeherrschungsanspruch der westlichen Führungsmacht USA haben die neokonservativen Netzwerker der USA und Europas die „westlichen Demokratien“ seit 1990 in Fassadendemokratien transformiert und den Aufstieg des Finanzkapitalismus durch Deregulierungen aller Art ermöglicht.
    Die Tatsache, dass in deutschen ehemaligen „Volksparteien“ neokonservative, marktradikale, transatlantische „Putsch“-Kader völlig konsequenzenlos, fortgesetzt und parteiübergreifend die Richtlinien der Politik bestimmen, obwohl sie ihre Parteien massiv geschädigt und im Falle der SPD voraussichtlich auf Jahrzehnte ruiniert haben, beweist den Komplottcharakter dieser Kader.
    Der bedeutendste Aspekt des genannten ideologischen Überbaus des transatlantischer Elitenfaschismus ist die Herrschaftsideologie des „freien, unbeschränkten Marktes“. Dieser säkularisierten Ersatzreligion des Marktradikalismus folgen die Täter des transatlantischen Elitenfaschismus. Sie arbeiten als Feindkorporationen gegen den demokratischen und sozialen Verfassungsstaat, die eigenen Völker und richten ein Desaster nach dem anderen an. Seit dem Systemkollaps der UdSSR bestimmt der transatlantische Elitenfaschismus mit zunehmender Intensität die Geschicke in den westlichen Staaten.“
    „Souverän abgemeldet
    Der Souverän ist abgemeldet und hat nichts zu sagen. Er ist zu 99 Prozent seines Lebens von jeder demokratischen Teilhabe ausgeschlossen. Er darf die Herrschaftskasten im formalen Akt des 4-jährigen Wahlzirkus in ihrer Herrschaft legitimieren. Das ist seine einzige Funktion!
    Der „europäischen Abteilung“ des transatlantischer Elitenfaschismus — der EU — kommt die Aufgabe zu, den Vorgaben des finanzkapitalistisch-staatsterroristisch-militärisch-industriellen Kommunikationskomplexes (FSMIKK), der eigentlichen Regierung der USA, Folge zu leisten und sich in seine sub-imperialistische Rolle zu fügen. Allein diese Rolle hat ihr das internationale Anlagekapital und der Militär-Faschismus von Pentagon und NATO zugedacht.
    Wer die politische Macht heutiger Finanzakteure als maßgebliche Treiber des transatlantischer Elitenfaschismus ermessen möchte, betrachte beispielsweise die größte Kapitalsammelstelle der Welt: den Vermögensverwalter BlackRock mit einem Anlagevermögen in Höhe von 6,288 Billionen US-Dollar zum Ende 2017 und von 6,444 Billionen zum Ende des 3. Quartals 2018. Die Finanzpower allein von BlackRock überstieg die gesamten Staatseinnahmen der USA in 2018. Die Macht dieser Kapitalsammelstellen, von denen BlackRock nur eine ist, liegt jenseits des Vorstellungsvermögens der meisten Menschen.
    Die Zivilgesellschaft ist nach fast 30 Jahren neoliberalen Herrschaftsterrors vollends Geisel des FSMIKK und der neokonservativen Kriegstreiber und Kriegsverbrecher. Diese räumen im koordinierten Militär-Stechschritt alles ab, was ihnen als völkerrechtlicher Hemmschuh, Rüstungskontrollabkommen, als Friedensgebot oder Rechtsstaat im Wege steht. Die neuesten Entwicklungen wie die Kündigung des Iran-Atomabkommens und des INF-Vertrages sowie die existenzielle Bedrohung Venezuelas legen Zeugnis darüber ab, dass der transatlantische Elitenfaschismus völlig außer Rand und Band geraten ist. Zur Realisierung seiner Weltherrschaftsobszession geht er rücksichtslos über Meere von Leichen.
    Tiefer Staat
    Als den Tiefen Staat des transatlantischen Elitenfaschismus bezeichne ich die nach 1990 entstandenen beziehungsweise sich konsolidierenden neokonservativen Netzwerke in Parteispitzen und Regierungen, Think Tanks, korrupter Wissenschaft und Publizistik, Rüstungswirtschaft, NATO, EU, Finanzwirtschaft, marktradikalen supranationalen Organisationen wie G-7, OECD, WTO, EZB und ihre Herrschaftsmedien.
    Tiefer Staat und transatlantischer Elitenfaschismus bilden eine verwobene Einheit mit Weltbeherrschungsanspruch. Der Tiefe Staat ist der Dunkelraum der Herrschenden, der weitgehend unterhalb des „öffentlichen Radars“ wirkt. Er ist die Parallel-Regierung, die permanente Regierung des transatlantischen Elitenfaschismus.
    Der Tiefe Staat operiert langfristig orientiert und völlig unabhängig vom Wählerwillen oder von Wahlergebnissen. Diese Parallel-Regierung interessiert sich nicht für Demokratie und Rechtsstaat, Frieden und Gerechtigkeit. Ihre wesentlichen Akteure sind die Reichen und Superreichen und Kapitalsammelstellen wie BlackRock auf der Suche nach Maximalprofit, ferner demokratiefreie Organisationen wie die NATO und die EU-Kommission. Kennzeichnend für den Tiefen Staat sind klandestine Ausschüsse, Direktorien, Senate, Geheimbünde wie die Bilderberger, die Trilaterale Kommission, das Weltwirtschaftsforum Davos, die Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz, die transatlantischen Think Tanks und so weiter. Ferner zählen zum Tiefen Staat die Geheimdienste, die Kriegs-Bürokratie, die Sicherheits-Industrie, die Finanzministerien und die Konzernwirtschaft einschließlich der Überwachungs- und Gehirnwasch-Industrie.
    Weiterhin zähle ich die gesamte Konzernlobby-Maschine sowie die milliardenschwere internationale Anwalts- und Beratungsindustrie zum Tiefen Staat, da sie die demokratischen Institutionen korrumpiert, von innen zersetzt und die Privatisierung des Staates und seiner Institutionen maximal befördert.
    „Ein aktueller Bericht zur Arbeit der EU-Staaten in Brüssel spricht von einer ‚symbiotischen Beziehung‘ mit der Konzernlobby. Deutschland und die meisten anderen EU-Staaten können oder wollen keine Auskünfte zu Treffen ihrer Mitarbeiter mit Lobbyisten geben.“
    „Machtpolitisch strebt der Tiefe Staat die totale Herrschaft an, versucht aber, in seinem demokratiefeindlichen Totalitätsanspruch nicht erkannt zu werden. Er camoufliert sich bestens vor unseren Augen, verkauft uns zum Beispiel Kriege als humanitäre Einsätze, die Wirtschaftsdiktatur der Konzerne und die Privatisierung des Öffentlichen als alternativlos sowie Flüchtlingsströme als Schicksal. Alles dies ist das Werk des Tiefen Staates und des transatlantischen Elitenfaschismus.“
    Massenverdummung
    Die Träger des modernen transatlantischen Elitenfaschismus haben durch Massenmanipulation, Gehirnwäsche, Tittitainment, Öffentlichkeits- und Empörungsmanagement über eine Generation hinweg das Massenpublikum entpolitisiert, in Konsumverblödung und Konformität gesteuert und sich durch Spaltung, Angst- und Hassproduktion weitgehend gefügig gemacht. Die ausgefeilten Manipulationstechniken des information warfare sind der real geführte* soft-power-Krieg* gegen die Zivilgesellschaft.
    Der transatlantische Elitenfaschismus bekämpft jede kulturelle und nationale Identität, da sie dem von ihm beförderten Menschenbild des politisch indifferenten, internationalisierten, geschlechtsneutralen und kulturell entwurzelten Markthomunculus entgegenstehen. Selbstverständlich überlässt der transatlantische Elitenfaschismus auch das Empörungspotential der Öffentlichkeit nicht dem Zufall . Hierzu bedient er sich milliardenschwerer Gehirnwasch-Firmen, sogenannter PR-Agenturen/ public opinion Agenturen. Diese sorgen für einen maximal verengten Meinungskorridor politischer Beschränktheit (political correctness).
    Geopolitische Neuordnung
    Nachdem ab Mitte der 1990er Jahre klar wurde, dass die Auflösung der NATO nach 1990 nie wirklich zur Debatte stand und die westlichen Herrschaftscliquen ihr Militärbündnis nach Osten expandieren würden, verleibten sie dem westlichen Militärbündnis nach und nach die früheren UdSSR-Satellitenstaaten ein. Die NATO hat sich unter fadenscheinigen Begründungen wie „Demokratieexport“ und „Ausweitung der freiheitlichen Marktwirtschaft und des liberalen Rechtsstaats“ unter völliger Missachtung russischer Sicherheitsinteressen bis vor die „russische Haustür“ geschoben. Sie expandierte 1999 um Polen, Ungarn und Tschechien, 2004 um Estland, Lettland, Litauen, Rumänien, Ungarn, Slovenien und die Slowakei, 2009 um Albanien und Kroatien und 2017 um Montenegro.
    Weitere Kandidaten, Ukraine, Mazedonien, Kosovo und Georgien sind in der Pipeline. Aktuell pressen die Freihandels- und Militarisierungsenthusiasten von NATO und EU Mazedonien in die NATO, um endlich das 30. Mitglied in den Schoß der „alternativlosen Marktwirtschaftsordnung“ aufzunehmen. Die Bevölkerungen wurden und werden ohnehin nicht gefragt und wenn sich Widerstand regt, wie in Montenegro oder auch in Mazedonien, dann wird der Wille der Bevölkerung schlicht übergangen oder niedergeknüppelt.
    Zur Erinnerung: Im Vorfeld des Gerangels um den EU-Verfassungsvertrag hatten sich die Bevölkerungen Irlands, Frankreichs und der Niederlande gegen eben diesen „Verfasssungsvertrag“ ausgesprochen. Danach wurde erneut abgestimmt, bis das Ergebnis passte, und der abgelehnte „Verfassungsvertrag“ trat nahezu wortgleich als Lissabon-Vertrag schließlich 2009 in Kraft. Soviel zum „Souverän“.
    Russland hat zu Recht seit Mitte der 1990er Jahre immer wieder auf die destabilisierenden Wirkungen der NATO-Osterweiterungen hingewiesen und diese stets abgelehnt. Das interessierte die USA und ihre Statthalter in den europäischen Hauptstädten jedoch gar nicht. Die Europäer wollen mit am Tisch der US-Raubritter und -Piraten sitzen, wenn das Fell des russischen Bären geteilt werden sollte, so es denn dazu kommt.
    Die aktuelle Kriegsgefahr ist das Ergebnis der NATO-Osteroberung und damit der im Wesentlichen vom Westen zu verantwortenden politischen Großwetterlage. USA/NATO/EU haben mit der NATO-Expansion zahllose potentielle Konfliktherde geschaffen und schalten diese nach Belieben jederzeit an und ab, wie neuerlich mit ihren ukrainischen Kumpanen im Asowschen Meer. Das gilt auch für die baltischen Staaten, Polen, Ukraine, Georgien, Ex-Jugoslawien/Kosovo.
    Das elitenfaschistische Herrschaftskomplott der „marktgesteuerten westlichen Demokratien“ hat den Hals jedoch noch lange nicht voll — es will mehr. Es will die totale Herrschaft über den Planeten, die USA sagen dies auch und unterstreichen ihren Weltbeherrschungsanspruch in allen Nationalen Sicherheitsstrategien wie in der 2017er nationalen Sicherheitsstrategie:
    „Putting America first is the duty of our government and the foundation for U.S. leadership in the world“.
    „Alle Staaten, die Washington verdächtigt, sich der Herrschaft des transatlantischen Elitenfaschismus nicht zu unterwerfen, werden dämonisiert, destabilisiert und schließlich militärisch überfallen, zumindest zerstört und chaotisiert, damit sie als staatliche Akteure wie Irak, Libyen, Syrien auf dem internationalen Parkett keine Rolle mehr spielen. Aktuell haben die Welteroberer und ihre EU-Satrapen den Iran und Venezuela [25] im Fadenkreuz.
    Meinungsdifferenzen zwischen den USA und der EU entzünden sich vordergründig am rüpelhaften Verhalten Trumps, zum Beispiel auf dem G-7-Gipfel Anfang Juni 2018 durch die abfällige Behandlung der EU-Partner und das Zurückziehen der Abschlusserklärung. Die Differenzen zwischen den USA und der EU („fuck the EU“) liegen maßgeblich auf wirtschaftlichem Gebiet, auf dem die USA immer weiter zurückzufallen drohen, insbesondere wenn sie zusätzliche Freihandelsabkommen mit der EU abschließen sollten.
    Da der europäische Rat — die Staats- und Regierungschefs der EU — als oberste Herrschaftsinstanz der EU das NATO-Bündnis unter keinen Umständen gefährden will, kommt er den US-Forderungen bereitwillig nach, die Militärausgaben auf mindestens 2 Prozent des BIP zu erhöhen. Und so hat das deutsche Kriegsestablishment die Militärausgaben gemäß IISS-Angaben aus „The Military Balance“ 2018 von 36,589 Milliarden US-Dollar im Jahr 2015 auf 41,734 US-Dollar in 2017, das heißt um über 14 Prozent gesteigert.
    Russland hat seine Rüstungsausgaben im selben Zeitraum von 52,201 Milliarden US-Dollar auf 45,600 US-Dollar gesenkt, das heißt um 12,46 Prozent. Die Rüstungsausgaben allein der USA betrugen 2017 602,783 Milliarden US-Dollar und waren damit 13-Mal so hoch wie die Russlands. Die Steigerung der US-Militärausgaben in Höhe von etwa 10 Prozent im Jahre 2018 ist dabei noch nicht einmal berücksichtigt. Soeben hat das Berliner Regime dem NATO-Faschismus weitere Unterstützungen zugesagt: Das Regime „bekennt sich verbindlich“, die Ausgaben für die eigene Kriegsmaschine bis 2024 auf 1,5 Prozent des BIP heraufzuschrauben, das heißt, der deutsche Kriegshaushalt soll bis 2024 auf 60 Milliarden Euro steigen.
    Vom aggressiven Russland zu schwadronieren, während die US-Militärausgaben 13 Mal höher liegen als die Russlands und die NATO für etwa 55 Prozent der Weltmilitärausgaben verantwortlich ist, übersteigt eigentlich jedes intellektuelle Fassungsvermögen und zeigt, wie die Täter des westlichen Elitenfaschismus gestrickt sind. Eine unabhängige Medienlandschaft, die die Zusammenhänge aufdeckt, haben wir ohnehin nicht mehr.
    Das Ganze läuft vor dem Hintergrund der faktischen Staatspleite der USA, die nach Angaben der Deutschen Wirtschaftsnachrichten mit 71.000 Milliarden, das heißt 71 Billionen US-Dollar verschuldet sind, wenn man die Staats-, Privat- und Unternehmensschulden ohne Hypothekenschulden addiert [28]. Und darin sind die 21 Billionen US-Dollar, die vorwiegend zwei Ministerien versenkten, noch gar nicht enthalten — verschwunden, unauffindbar.
    Offensichtlich handelt es sich hierbei um ein einziges staatlich/privat organisiertes und gedecktes Vertuschungssystem. Bei realistischer Betrachtung sind die USA also mindestens mit 100 Billionen US-Dollar verschuldet, wahrscheinlich mit sehr viel mehr, „vergraben“ in „black budgets“. Nach Trumps Auffassung „schulden“ die NATO-Partner dem Militärbündnis höhere Militärausgaben. Der soeben unterzeichnete Freundschaftspakt Frankreich-Deutschland in Aachen ist vor allem ein Militär- und Rüstungskooperationsvertrag. Diese beiden Staaten zusammen gaben übrigens 2017 ziemlich genau doppelt soviel für ihre Militärapparate aus wie Russland.
    Eine Preisgabe der NATO steht für den transatlantischen Elitenfaschismus generell nicht zur Debatte. Andernfalls hätte sich das angerichtete Chaos in den internationalen Beziehungen „nicht gelohnt“.     China’s HL-2M nuclear fusion device burns with the power of 13 suns
    Chinese scientists are working on harvesting the energy of the Sun, but it’s not solar energy. The country has developed its very own “artificial sun,” a nuclear fusion research device that is supposed to pave the way for clean energy — similar to the real Sun.
    The completion of the reactor was announced on Tuesday, and it’s expected to start operation in 2020, Xinhua News reported.
    The actual name of China’s artificial sun isn’t that poetic. It’s called the HL-2M, and it was built by the China National Nuclear Corporation and the Southwestern Institute of Physics. The reactor is located in Leshan, Sichuan province, where it was built to research fusion technology.

    Although it’s being referred to as a sun, the device can actually reach temperatures 13 times hotter than our star. The HL-2M will be able to reach 200 million degrees Celsius (360 million degrees Fahrenheit). By comparison, the Sun “only” gets as hot as 15 million degrees Celsius (27 million degrees Fahrenheit) in its core.
    Why so hot? The fusion process in the Sun relies on forcing atoms to merge, which releases heat that can be transformed into energy. This is the opposite of what happens in current nuclear fission plants, which rely on splitting atoms — typically those from Uranium.
    The result is energy that is cleaner and cheaper than current nuclear options, resulting in less toxic waste, according to scientists. But there’s a problem — it’s hard to achieve.
    Physics professor Gao Zhe from Beijing’s Tsinghua University told the South China Morning Post in July that scientists around the world still had many problems to overcome in the field of nuclear fusion.
    “There is no guarantee that all these problems will be solved. But if we don’t do it, the problems will definitely not be solved,” he said.

    The way reactors reproduce what the Sun does at its core is by using a doughnut-shaped chamber known as a tokamak. The HL-2M uses hydrogen and deuterium gas as fuel to simulate a nuclear fusion reaction by injecting them into the device and producing plasma. Its installation started in June this year.
    The project is a part of China’s involvement with the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER), based in France. The ITER is the world’s largest nuclear fusion project with a price tag of about €20 billion (US$22 billion). It involves 35 countries and is expected to be completed in 2025.
    It’s also important for China’s nuclear fusion reactor research. China’s first fusion device, the HL-1, was completed in 1984. The Southwestern Institute of Physics is the oldest and largest research and development base for controlled nuclear fusion energy in China.
    Another research hotspot for nuclear fusion in China is Hefei, Anhui province, where the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) is based. That device has managed to reach the 100 million degrees mark.

    The mind-altering mechanism is based on a subliminal carrier technology: the Silent Sound Spread Spectrum (SSSS), sometimes called „S-quad“ or „Squad“.
    It was developed by Dr Oliver Lowery of Norcross, Georgia, and is described in US Patent #5,159,703, „Silent Subliminal Presentation System“, dated October 27, 1992.
    The abstract for the patent reads:
    „A silent communications system in which non-aural carriers, in the very low or very high audio-frequency range or in the adjacent ultrasonic frequency spectrum are amplitude- or frequency-modulated with the desired intelligence and propagated acoustically or vibrationally, for inducement into the brain, typically through the use of loudspeakers, earphones, or piezoelectric transducers.
    The modulated carriers may be transmitted directly in real time or may be conveniently recorded and stored on mechanical, magnetic, or optical media for delayed or repeated transmission to the listener.“
    According to literature by Silent Sounds, Inc., it is now possible, using supercomputers, to analyze human emotional EEG patterns and replicate them, then store these „emotion signature clusters“ on another computer and, at will, „silently induce and change the emotional state in a human being“.
    Silent Sounds, Inc. states that it is interested only in positive emotions, but the military is not so limited. That this is a US Department of Defense project is obvious.
    Edward Tilton, President of Silent Sounds, Inc., says this about S-quad in a letter dated December 13, 1996:
    „All schematics, however, have been classified by the US Government and we are not allowed to reveal the exact details… … we make tapes and CDs for the German Government, even the former Soviet Union countries! All with the permission of the US State Department, of course… The system was used throughout Operation Desert Storm (Iraq) quite successfully.“
    The graphic illustration, „Induced Alpha to Theta Biofeedback Cluster Movement“, which accompanies the literature, is labeled „#AB 116-394-95 UNCLASSIFIED“ and is an output from,
    „the world’s most versatile and most sensitive electroencephalograph (EEG) machine“.
    It has a gain capability of 200,000, as compared to other EEG machines in use which have gain capability of approximately 50,000. It is software-driven by the „fastest of computers“ using a noise-nulling technology similar to that used by nuclear submarines for detecting small objects underwater at extreme range.
    The purpose of all this high technology is to plot and display a moving cluster of periodic brainwave signals. The illustration shows an EEG display from a single individual, taken of left and right hemispheres simultaneously.
    Ile readout from the two sides of the brain appear to be quite different, but in fact are the same (discounting normal left-right brain variations).
    CLONING THE EMOTIONS
    By using these computer-enhanced EEGs, scientists can identify and isolate the brain’s low-amplitude „emotion signature clusters“, synthesize them and store them on another computer.
    In other words, by studying the subtle characteristic brainwave patterns that occur when a subject experiences a particular emotion, scientists have been able to identify the concomitant brainwave pattern and can now duplicate it.
    „These clusters are then placed on the Silent Sound[TM] carrier frequencies and will silently trigger the occurrence of the same basic emotion in another human being!“
    SYSTEM DELIVERY AND APPLICATIONS
    There is a lot more involved here than a simple subliminal sound system. There are numerous patented technologies which can be piggybacked individually or collectively onto a carrier frequency to elicit all kinds of effects.
    There appear to be two methods of delivery with the system.
    One is direct microwave induction into the brain of the subject, limited to short-range operations.
    The other, as described above, utilizes ordinary radio and television carrier frequencies.
    Far from necessarily being used as a weapon against a person, the system does have limitless positive applications. However, the fact that the sounds are subliminal makes them virtually undetectable and possibly dangerous to the general public.
    In more conventional use, the Silent Sounds Subliminal System (SSSS) might utilize voice commands, e.g., as an adjunct to security systems. Beneath the musical broadcast that you hear in stores and shopping malls may be a hidden message which exhorts against shoplifting. And while voice commands alone are powerful, when the subliminal presentation system carries cloned emotional signatures, the result is overwhelming.
    Free-market uses for this technology are the common self-help tapes; positive affirmation, relaxation and meditation tapes; as well as methods to increase learning capabilities.
    In a medical context, these systems can be used to great advantage to treat psychiatric and psychosomatic problems. As a system for remediating the profoundly deaf, it is unequalled.
    (Promises, promises. This is the most common positive use touted for this technology over the past 30 years. But the deaf are still deaf, and the military now has a weapon to use on unsuspecting people with perfectly normal hearing.)
    OFFICIAL DENIALS
    In fact, the US Government has denied or refused to comment on mind-altering weapons for years.
    Only last year, US News & World Report ran an article titled „Wonder Weapons“ basically a review of the new so-called ’non-lethal‘ or ‚less-than -lethal‘ weapons.‘ Not one word about S-quad, although the technology had been used six years earlier!

    ‚I have yet to see one of these ray-gun things that actually works; and DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) has come to us every few years to see if there are ways to incapacitate the central nervous system remotely,‘ Dr F. Terry Hambrecht, head of the Neural Prostheses Program at NIH, told US News, ‚but nothing has ever come of if,‘ he said. ‚That is too science-fiction and far-fetched.“‚
    It may sound „science fiction and far-fetched“ but it is not. However, that is just what the powers-that-be want you to believe, so as to leave them alone in their relentless pursuit of…what?
    The idea behind non-lethal weapons is to incapacitate the enemy without actually killing them, or, in the case of riot control or hostage situations, to disable the participants without permanent injury, preferably without their knowing it. The electromagnetic mind-altering technologies would all fall into this class of weapons, but since they are all officially non-existent, who is to decide when and where they will be used?
    And why should selected companies in the entertainment industry reportedly be allowed access to this technology when the very fact of its existence is denied to the general public?
    As recently as last month [February], this stonewall approach of total denial or silence on the subject still held fast, even toward committees of the US Congress!
    The Joint Economics Committee, chaired by Jim Saxton (R-NJ), convened on February 25, 1998 for the „Hearing on Radio Frequency Weapons and Proliferation: Potential Impact on the Economy“.
    Invited testimony included statements by several authorities from the military:
    Dr Alan Kehs, of the US Army Laboratories, discussed the overall RF threat.
    Mr James O’Bryon, Deputy Director of Operational Testing and Director of live fire testing for the Office of Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon, discussed the role of Live Fire Testing and how it plays a role in testing military equipment with RF weapons.
    Mr David Schriner, Principal Engineer of Directed Energy Studies with Electronic Warfare Associates and recently retired as an engineer with a naval weapons testing facility, talked about the difficulty in building an RF weapon and about the terrorist threat.
    Dr Ira Merritt, Chief of Concepts Identification and Applications Analysis Division, Advanced Technology Directorate, Missile Defense and Space Technology Center, Huntsville, Alabama, discussed the proliferation of RF weapons primarily from the former Soviet Union.
    Although these statements gave information of technical interest, they are perhaps more important for the information they did not give: information on the existence of radiofrequency weapons that directly affect the human brain and nervous system.
    KGB PSYCHOTRONICS
    This technology did not spring up overnight. It has a long history of development and denials of development-by the US Government and probably half of the other governments of the world as well.
    We know that the former Soviet Union was actively engaged in this type of research. In a previous article we reported that during the 1970s the Soviet KGB developed a Psychotronic Influence System (PIS) that was used to turn soldiers into programmable ‚human weapons‘. The system employed a combination of high-frequency radio-waves and hypnosis. The PIS project was begun in response to a similar training scheme launched in the US by President Carter, according to Yuri Malin, former security adviser to USSR President Gorbachev.
    In my Electromagnetic Weapons Timeline I covered a period of 60 years of interest and development in EM weapons-information gathered from the many articles and news clippings sent in by readers of Resonance.

    POWER OF THE MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX
    Jan Wiesemann has written an apt description of the situation which now exists in the United States, about the ‚forces that be‘ and how the situation came about:
    „During the Cold War the United States not only engaged in a relatively open nuclear arms race with the Soviet Union, but also engaged in a secret race developing unconventional weapons. As the intelligence agencies (which prior to the Second World War had merely played a supporting role within the government) continued to increase their power, so did the funds spent on developing techniques designed to outsmart each other.
    „And as the US intelligence community began to grow, a secret culture sprang about which enabled the intelligence players to implement the various developed techniques to cleverly circumvent the democratic processes and institutions…
    „Like many other democracies, the US Government is made up of two basic parts the elected constituency, i.e., the various governors, judges, congressmen and the President; and the unelected bureaucracies, as represented by the numerous federal agencies.
    „In a well-balanced and correctly functioning democracy, the elected part of the government is in charge of its unelected bureaucratic part, giving the people a real voice in the agenda set by their government.
    „While a significant part of the US Government no doubt follows this democratic principle, a considerable portion of the US Government operates in complete secrecy and follows its own unaccountable agenda which, unacknowledged, very often is quite different from the public agenda. “
    Jan goes on to quote one of the United States‘ most popular war heroes: Dwight D. Eisenhower, who served as Supreme Commander of Allied Forces during World War II and was later elected 34th President of the United States.
    In his farewell address to the nation in 1961, President Eisenhower said:
    „…we have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the defense establishment. We annually spend on military security more than the net income of all United States corporations.
    „This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence-economic, political, even spiritual-is felt in every city, every state house, every office of the federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.
    „In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or our democratic processes.“
    INTERNATIONAL CONCERNS OVER NEW WEAPONS
    The United Nations was established in 1945 with the aim of „saving succeeding generations from the scourge of war“.
    In 1975 the General Assembly considered a draft first proposed by the Soviet Union: „Prohibition of the Development and Manufacture of New Types of Weapons of Mass Destruction and New Systems of Such Weapons“.
    In 1979 the Soviet Union added a list of some types of potential weapons of mass destruction:
    Radiological weapons (using radioactive materials) which could produce harmful effects similar to those of a nuclear explosion
    Particle beam weapons, based on charged or neutral particles, to affect biological targets
    Infrasonic acoustic radiation weapons
    Electromagnetic weapons operating at certain radio-frequency radiations which could have injurious effects on human organs.
    In response, the US and other Western nations stalled. They gave a long, convoluted reason, but the result was the same.
    In an article entitled „Non-Lethal Weapons May Violate Treaties“, the author notes that the Certain Conventional Weapons Convention covers many of the non-conventional weapons,
    „those that utilize infrasound or electromagnetic energy (including lasers, microwave or radiofrequency radiation, or visible light pulsed at brainwave frequency) for their effects“.
    Harlan Girard, Managing Director of the International Committee Against Offensive Microwave Weapons, told me he believes the strategy behind the government’s recent push for less-than-lethal weapons is a subterfuge. The ones that are now getting all the publicity are put up for scrutiny to get the public’s approval. The electromagnetic mind-altering technologies are not mentioned, but would be brought in later under the umbrella of less-than- lethal weapons.
    These weapons were recently transferred from the Department of Defense over to the Department of Justice. Why? Because there are several international treaties that specifically limit or exclude weapons of this nature from being used in international warfare.
    In other words, weapons that are barred from use against our country’s worst enemies (notwithstanding the fact that the US did use this weapon against Iraqi troops!) can now be used against our own citizens by the local police departments against such groups as peaceful protestors of US nuclear policies.
    TOWARDS GLOBAL MIND CONTROL
    The secrecy involved in the development of the electromagnetic mind-altering technology reflects the tremendous power that is inherent in it. To put it bluntly, whoever controls this technology can control the minds of men-all men.
    There is evidence that the US Government has plans to extend the range of this technology to envelop all peoples, all countries. This can be accomplished, is being accomplished, by utilizing the nearly completed HAARP project for overseas areas and the GWEN network now in place in the US. The US Government denies all this.
    Dr Michael Persinger is a Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Laurentian University, Ontario, Canada.
    You have met him before in the pages of Resonance where we reported on his findings that strong electromagnetic fields can affect a person’s brain.
    „Temporal lobe stimulation,“ he said, „can evoke the feeling of a presence, disorientation, and perceptual irregularities. It can activate images stored in the subject’s memory, including nightmares and monsters that are normally suppressed.“
    Dr Persinger wrote an article a few years ago, titled „On the Possibility of Directly Accessing Every Human Brain by Electromagnetic Induction of Fundamental Algorithms“.
    The abstract reads:
    „Contemporary neuroscience suggests the existence of fundamental algorithms by which all sensory transduction is translated into an intrinsic, brain-specific code. Direct stimulation of these codes within the human temporal or limbic cortices by applied electromagnetic patterns may require energy levels which are within the range of both geomagnetic activity and contemporary communication networks.
    A process which is coupled to the narrow band of brain temperature could allow all normal human brains to be. affected by a subharmonic whose frequency range at about 10 Hz would only vary by 0. 1 Hz.“
    He concludes the article with this:
    „Within the last two decades a potential has emerged which was improbable, but which is now marginally feasible. This potential is the technical capability to influence directly the major portion of the approximately six billion brains of the human species, without mediation through classical sensory modalities, by generating neural information within a physical medium within which all members of the species are immersed.
    „The historical emergence of such possibilities, which have ranged from gunpowder to atomic fission, have resulted in major changes in the social evolution that occurred inordinately quickly after the implementation. Reduction of the risk of the inappropriate application of these technologies requires the continued and open discussion of their realistic feasibility and implications within the scientific and public domain.“
    It doesn’t get any plainer than that.
    And we do not have open discussion because the US Government has totally denied the existence of this technology.
